The OFFZONE 2024 agenda is now published
More than 120 cybersecurity specialists will speak
at the OFFZONE 2024. Researchers, developers, and other experts will
present around 100 papers and share their cases in eight thematic zones.
Attendees can join workshops and engage in interactive experiences. The organizers
will also announce the BI.ZONE Bug Bounty year results on the first day of the conference
The Main track will be opened with a presentation
by Sergey Golovanov, the chief security expert at Kaspersky Lab. He will
speak about the evolution of cyber incidents over the past 20 years.
Other speakers will elaborate on the tools utilized by adversaries and analyze
their actions through specific case studies.
For the first time, the conference will
feature Al.Zone. On August 22, it will bring together experts who will talk
about AI and ML implementation challenges as well as the use of AI
in cybersecurity.
Another novelty is Threat.Zone, where participants
will be able to get the latest information about attacker tools and analyze
the actions of individual criminal groups. On August 23, OFFZONE will
host a panel discussion on the Russian cyber threat landscape in 2024.
It will be attended by representatives of major cybersecurity companies.
At AntiFraud.Zone, which will run on the first
day of the conference, experts will talk about digital risks and new schemes
applied by cyber fraudsters. The participants will also learn how to build
their own anti‑fraud system from scratch. The Fast track on the second
day of the event will feature talks on key cybersecurity topics. Speakers
will explore ways to protect the cloud infrastructure, present pentesting cases,
and examine real-life incidents.
Those who are interested in security research
are welcome to join the Community track. Topics include vulnerabilities in Russian
software, mechanisms of bypassing Google protection, security solution architecture,
and bug hunting.
AppSec.Zone is devoted to application security.
On the first day of the event, this track will host a press
conference on the BI.ZONE Bug Bounty platform. Besides that, the speakers
will cover such topics as bugs, vulnerabilities, security assessment, and application
security. They will also talk about the burnout phenomenon in cybersecurity.
CTF track is traditionally dedicated to ethical
hacking contests. The participants of CTF contests will share their experiences
and life hacks, and everyone else will be able to try their hand at solving
advanced tasks from the authors of CTFZone games.
Together with CyberED, we have organized four
workshops on threat detection and neutralization.
The guests of OFFZONE 2024 will enjoy plenty of activities
prepared by BI.ZONE and its partners: Sber, T‑Bank, Positive Technologies,
Digital Economy League, Angara Security, Curator, F.A.C.C.T, Kaspersky, MITIGATOR,
Security Vision, Swordfish Security, and others. Everyone will have a chance
to take part in a quest, test their bug hunting skills, play Mortal Kombat,
create a unique badge with their own hands, and solve one of the main
riddles of the event in the CUB_3 zone. The most courageous
ones can visit our Tattoo.Zone to get a tattoo or try their hand as a tattoo
artist.
OFFZONE is organized by BI.ZONE, an expert
in digital risks management. This year’s conference is supported by 24 commercial
partners, 17 community and 9 media partners.
The fifth international conference on practical
cybersecurity OFFZONE 2024 will unfold on August 22–23 at the ZIL
cultural center in Moscow. The event will bring together cybersecurity
specialists, developers, engineers, independent researchers, and members of the academia.
In 2023, OFFZONE featured 2,500 participants and 108 cybersecurity experts with a total
of 89 presentations. As in previous years, the 2024 conference will
be held exclusively offline.
